3. Super Mario World | The Top 10 SNES Games

Super Mario WorldI’m pretty sure every single person who owned an SNES owned this game as well. Super Mario World was one of two launch games in Japan and the highest selling game for the console at 20.86 million copies sold. This game had everything. In fact, my only complaint for this game as an adult is how easy it is. I’ve probably kicked thousands of turtle shells and flown over hundreds of levels in my day. Every so often I go back and play this game because I believe it’s the pinnacle of platforming and the standard that all Mario games should be measured by. Go and get a kiss from the princess, but don’t expect the ending to mention Luigi’s contributions.
