The SNES is a classic console from what some might call the golden age of console gaming. With over 49 million units sold over its 13 year life span, the console went down in history as winning the fiercest console war of all time. The Japanese Super Famicom debuted in 1990 while its international equivalent, the Super Nintendo, was launched in 1991.
